Company Profile Since 1988, VITEC has been devoted to the development of MPEG Encoding, video compression and the creation of innovative concepts intended for the digital video applications. Since 1990, the company has focused its entire efforts on digital video, conforming to ISO standards (MPEG for video) and others. VITEC R&D activities are divided in three main thrusts:
